Let X,Y⊂(0,1)X, Y \subset (0,1) be countable sets that are everywhere dense in [0,1]\left[0,1\right]. Construct a diffeomorphism of the interval [0,1]\left[0,1\right] (a mapping onto itself, continuously differentiable together with its inverse mapping) carrying XX onto YY.

?

Prove that any countable linearly ordered set AA has order type η\eta if and only if AA satisfies the following conditions:

?
(a)

AA has no least and no greatest element;

(b)

for any x,y∈Ax, y \in A such that x<yx < y, there exists z∈Az \in A such that x<z<yx < z < y (such an order is called dense).

Prove that every countable linearly ordered set is similar to some subset of the set Q\mathbb {Q} of rational numbers.
