Math Problems Vault("the site", "we") is a personal, non-commercial educational project. This page explains what information we collect when you use the site and how it's used.

1. Information we collect

• Usage analytics.We record basic page-view and interaction events (e.g. which page you visited, which "Hint"/"Solution"/"Answer" toggle you opened) tied to an anonymous visitor/session identifier stored in a cookie. This is used only to understand which problems and features are useful, never to identify you personally, and is never sold or shared with third parties.
• Vercel Web Analytics.The site uses Vercel's built-in analytics to measure aggregate traffic (e.g. page views, referrers). This is privacy-respecting, cookie-free traffic analytics provided by our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) — see Vercel's own privacy documentation for details on how they process this data.
• Account information. If you create an account (e.g. to access a subscription tier), we store the email address and a salted hash of your password (never the password itself) in our own database, solely to manage your login. We do not use this information for marketing.
• Your favorites.The problems you add to your Favorites are stored only in your own browser's local storage. We never see or store your favorites list on our servers, beyond fetching the public problem content needed to display it to you.

2. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: one to keep you signed in (if you have an account), and one anonymous pair to distinguish returning visitors for analytics purposes. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

3. How we use this information

Solely to operate, maintain, and improve the site — understanding which content is useful, fixing bugs, and managing accounts for anyone with a subscription. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

4. Data retention & your rights

You can ask us to delete your account and any associated data at any time by emailing admin@mathprobvault.com. Analytics events are not linked to your identity and are retained only as long as useful for understanding site usage.

We may update this policy occasionally; the "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
