Let AA be a formula, Δ\Delta a system of formulas, and MM a logical matrix. Prove that if all formulas of Δ\Delta are generally valid in MM, and a direct consequence of formulas generally valid in MM is a formula generally valid in MM, while the formula AA is not generally valid in MM, then AA is independent of Δ\Delta.
